Own the charge calculation systems at the core of Amazon's end-to-end ordering workflow

Amazon's Charge Calculation team, part of the eCommerce Ordering Services group, owns the systems that calculate charges and produce charge summaries across the full purchase lifecycle, plus the model defining charge representation used by many upstream and downstream services. This SDE role is squarely large-scale distributed systems engineering — design, ownership, and end-to-end impact on a critical piece of the retail ordering pipeline.
