Build the agentic layer on top of Amazon WorkSpaces' cloud desktop platform
This SDE role is on the new Agentic WorkSpaces org within AWS Applied AI Solutions, reimagining Amazon WorkSpaces (its decade-old managed cloud desktop service) into a platform where the workspace actively partners with users and AI agents rather than just delivering infrastructure. The job requires operational ownership of low-latency, high-availability services used by over one million WorkSpaces users globally, meeting SLAs across multiple production regions and OS variants, and partnering with Amazon Bedrock/Q teams to plug into shared AWS agentic infrastructure. Bar for architecture/design experience is slightly higher than a typical SDE role (2+ years explicitly required).
